How to make a call from Close
This feature would be used when calling someone directly from Close, using a number registered within the program.
Navigate to the customer’s
Lead page
.
Click the
Call
button at the top of the page.
The phone will begin ringing until the customer answers or it goes to voicemail
Leave notes about the call in the
Call Activity
that appears.
If there is no answer, you can also leave a voicemail message.
If you leave a voicemail message, please mention that in the notes.
Click
Done
when you are finished.
How to log a call in Close
This feature would be used if you call someone from an external phone number not registered within Close.
Navigate to the customer’s
Lead page
in Close.
Click the dropdown arrow next to the
Call
button.
Click
Log a call
Type in any notes about what happened on the call.
In the bottom left hand corner of the call activity, select which contact you called and enter the length of the call.
Click
Done
when you are finished.
